We found out that for shootings with digital acquisition formats like the Red One and Arri Alexa cameras or especially with highspeed productions (e.g. with Phantom or Weisscam) there is a need for proper onset control, because we experienced problems in color grading that could’ve been easily resolved on set.
To create such a control station we built a mobile workstation hosting a lot of storage, computing power and monitors that reside in the back of a nice and comfortable Multivan.
